EATING HABIT

You should select foods good in protein, mineral and vitamin: fish, seafood, mushroom, fruit, vegetable, spout, egg, seaweed, meat, nut and dairy food.  On the other hand, you must avoid foods threating your growth: food and drink with caffeine, too much sugar, salt, sauce or alcohol; fried, smoked or junk foods.

 

MILK & OTHER FOODSTUFFS GOOD FOR GROW TALL

In fact, milk is good for health but only fair for growing tall. Water constitutes about 90% of it.  Milk contains less than 10% of protein, fat and carbohydrate, to a total of only 25 grams per cup, are far from enough to grow tall.
 
Milk has only 0.011-0.022% (110-220mg/litre) of calcium. Teens have to consume 1500mg of mineral per day. You have to drink 1400ml (7cups) of milk, or 750ml (3.5 cups) of high calcium milk in order to fulfil your daily Calcium requirement.

Daily Consumption of WATER, VEGETABLE and FRUIT

Dr. Edison LEE has warned that it is a big mistake for everyone to drink 8 cups of water every day.  It is far too much for a little child of 25 kg to drink 8 cups or 2000ml of water.  In contrast, 2 liters of water is insufficient for a gym man of 300 pounds.

The research of Dr. Edison LEE has concluded that everyone should drink not less than 3.00% body weight of water per day.  In average, about 3.2% is the best amount.  You can vary from 3.1% in winter to 3.3% in summer.  For active people, 3.5-4.0% should be consumed.  For outdoor labor or gym man in hot season, 3.5-5% is recommended.  Except special case, water more than 6% body weight a day is harmful to health.

Person who started growth spurt early will usually end up early.  Please do not confuse that you will be tall if you are very tall now.  I have seen many tall children grown up short or just normal after mature!

About one third people have no growth spurt.  Some reasons are:

1.  Lose weight or afraid of fat so eat less, or even anorexia;

Naturally it is neither possible to grow taller than your maximum genetic height nor after mature.  However, you can BOOST-TALL within about ten years after you stop to grow tall:

A. SURGICAL OPERATION

Naturally it is impossible to grow neither taller than your maximum genetic height nor after mature. However, you can BOOST-TALL naturally within about ten years after you stop grow taller. Your choices may be:

1. Cut and grow OperationCut the long bones of your legs at an angle of 30 to 45 degree, and then stretch them mechanically with a screw mount, at the pace of about 0.05 cm daily for several months. This operation is preferably done before or just at the beginning of your puberty. It is too risky for boys older than 15.5 or girls over 14 years. There are failed cases that the adult patient can no longer walk normally.

2.
Stretching Operation
Put a 316 stainless steel or preferably titanium screw inside the hollow marrow of your leg bone. Then, stretch the bones to the opposite side with the screw at the pace of about 0.05 cm daily for several months. Only the screw ends are exposed off the skin.  It can hardly be seen outside trousers. This operation is no need to cut the bone, so it is not as risky as the above operation. This is also painful but can be done within a few years after puberty, by taking surplus human growth hormone.  Stretching operation is relatively new and has not yet become popular.

2. Exercise reducing your joint space: lift weight, rolling boat, water or ice skiing.
